Diwali wishes and messages that sound like you
By Bouquetgram · Published
Forwarded greetings pile up at Diwali, and most of them look the same. A short message written for one person is remembered. Here is how to write one, with examples for family, friends and colleagues.
For family
- "Wishing you a Diwali full of light, sweets and time together. I wish I could be there."
- "The house will not feel the same without you this year. Sending you all the light I can."
For friends
- "Happy Diwali. Thank you for being the person I call first."
- "May this year be kinder to you than the last one. Happy Diwali."
For colleagues and clients
- "Wishing you and your family a bright and peaceful Diwali."
- "Thank you for a good year of working together. Happy Diwali."
Skip the forward, write one line
A forwarded graphic says you remembered the date. One line with the person’s name says you remembered them. The second takes thirty seconds longer.
Flowers that fit the festival
Marigold and lotus are the traditional festival flowers in India, and they are in the bouquet builder. Pair them with jasmine for fragrance, and add a short voice note if you cannot be there in person.

Can I send Diwali flowers to family abroad?
Yes. A digital bouquet is a link, so it reaches anyone with a phone. There is no delivery or customs, and it arrives the moment you send it.
Is it free?
Sending a bouquet and a card is free. A song or a voice note is a small extra, and you are asked before anything is added.
